STANLEY KAWALSKY
Principal
Stanley Kawalsky was born in Cape Town. He attained the degree of B.Comm from the University of Cape Town in 1967. He then went on to qualify as an attorney in 1973 and a few months later was invited to be a partner at one of Cape Town’s most established and respected legal firms then known as Frank Bernadt and Joffe. He was admitted to practice in Western Australia in 1989 and became a partner at Dwyer Thomas Barristers and Solicitors before opening his own practice in 1996.
HILARY KAWALSKY
Practice Manager
Hilary Kawalsky’s background includes a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in mathematics from the University of Cape Town in 1970. She also obtained a diploma in computer programming in 1988 in Perth.
She taught mathematics and business at high school level for 30 years before becoming practice manager at Kawalsky Lawyers in 2005.
MICHAEL CHRISTIE
Lawyer
Michael holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (Politics and International Studies) from Murdoch University. He was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2009.
Michael has experience across property law, leasing, conveyancing, commercial law, and wills and probate and has a particular interest in mediation and alternative dispute resolution.
VIVI JOHANA GARCIA-CATANO
Vivi Johana Garcia holds a Bachelor Degree of Law and Politics Science from Libre University Of Colombia. She was admitted as a barrister and solicitor by the Superior Council of the Judiciary of Colombia in 2009.
Vivi has experience across property law, conveyancing, commercial law, leasing and wills and has a particular interest in Commonwealth law.
